Discuss cooperation in the field of Tourism at the Fifteenth Meeting of the Qatar-Oman Joint Committee

The Fifteenth Meeting of the Qatar - Oman Joint Committee concluded on Sunday, 3 / May 2010 which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Doha and presided over the country at the meeting, His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy and Industry and the Omani side was led by HE Dr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Ramahi, Minister of Oil and Gas of Oman. 

Assure both sides at the beginning of the meeting on the depth of relations between Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman thanks to the wise guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Emir and his brother, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, Sultan of Oman and their constant and continuing to develop these relations in various fields. This proves the size of the achievements of the Omani Joint National Committee since its inception in 1995 and their positive impact on the activation of the special relationship between the two countries.
The Joint Commission reviewed its agenda, which included concentration on the development of joint work between the two countries and the activation of these different aspects is the most important joint cooperation in the field of petroleum, joint cooperation in the field of specifications and standards, joint cooperation in the field of trade, cooperation in the field of education, cooperation in the 
area of security, cooperation in the field of manpower, cooperation in the field of tourism, cooperation in the environmental field, and finally cooperation in the cultural field.
With regard to the field of Tourism cooperation between the two countries a draft Memorandum of Understanding has been prepared and were studied by both sides as expected to be signed at the next Qatari-Oman Joint Commission Meeting.
