Doha, April 13 (QNA) -

H.H. the Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and President Blaise Compaore of Burkina Faso held talks Tuesday at the Emiri Diwan. The talks were attended on the Burkina Faso''s side by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation Bedouma Yoda, Director of State Protocol Leon Yougbare, Diplomatic Adviser to the President Mansa Ountana, Advisor to the President Abu Bakr Doukari and Ambassador to the state Omar Diawara. During the session, the two sides reviewed the relations of cooperation between the two countries and discussed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern. Following the talks, H.H. the Emir and President Compaore witnessed the signing of a cultural cooperation agreement between the governments of Qatar and Burkina Faso and a Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation. The agreement and the MoU were signed for Qatar by H.E. the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad bin Abdul Aziz Al Kuwari and Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority Ahmed Abdullah Al Noaimi and for Burkina Faso by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Regional Cooperation Bedouma Yoda. Afterwards, H.H. the Emir hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of the Burkina Faso president and his accompanying delegation. (QNA) MM/OM
