Tourism cooperation discussed
Doha, 04 April 2010 –
Mr. Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority, met with Riad Ismat, PhD, the Ambassador of Syria in Qatar on Thursday. Also present at the meeting was Mr. Jabor Al-Mohannadi, Head of Public and International Relations of Qatar Tourism Authority.
Mr. Al Nuaimi exchanged views with Dr. Ismat, who was recently appointed Ambassador of Syria in Qatar, on tourism coordination between the State of Qatar and Syria. The two sides discussed ideas on cooperation between the two countries on tourism, and various investments in tourism in both the private and public sectors. Mr. Al Nuaimi and Dr. Ismat discussed ways to boost engagement in activities according to an existing memorandum of understanding between the two countries to further bi-lateral cooperation in tourism.
