Continuation of tourism cooperation discussed
Doha (February 2, 2010) –
Mr. Ahmed Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Qatar Tourism Authority, met with the Ambassador to the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Eldar N. Salimov today. Mr. Jabor Al-Mohannadi, Head of Public and International Relations of Qatar Tourism Authority also attended the meeting.
Mr. Al Nuaimi and Mr. Salimov discussed the strong relationship between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Azerbaijan. Referring to the Memorandum of Understanding on tourism cooperation signed between the two countries in 2004, the two sides exchanged views and ideas on further coordination in the tourism sector.
Mr. Salimov invited Mr. Al Nuaimi for an official visit to the Republic of Azerbaijan to attend the IX International Tourism Fair (AITF-2010) scheduled to take place in April 2010 in Azerbaijan’s capital city of Baku.
