Qatar Tourism Authority welcomes guests at the Global Champions Tour Qatar Final 2009
Doha, Qatar (11 November 2009) – Qatar Tourism Authority (QTA) will welcome equestrian fans and guests at the prestigious Global Champions Tour Qatar Final 2009 with a booth in the hospitality village. Representatives from QTA will be distributing tourism brochures, maps and information about Qatar.
The Global Champions Tour is an annually celebrated jumping competition. After a successfully organizing the first leg of the 2008 tour, Doha was chosen to host the final for 2009. The event, organized by the Qatar Equestrian Federation, takes place at the Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club in Doha from November 11 to November 14. The event features the best 25 riders from the Global Champions Tour ranking list. There will be two show jumping classes on each event evening. On Thursday and Saturday evening, two rounds of the GCT Qatar Final will take place. The grounds include a shopping and cultural village for all visitors to enjoy.
